Mr. Lawrus graduated from Niagara
Parks Commission School of Horticulture, Niagara Falls,
Canada and recently graduated from the Royal Botanic Gardens,
Kew, London with a International Botanic Garden Management
Diploma. He also completed the University of Windsor Commerce
Program. Since his arrival on Grand Cayman in 2001, he has
advanced from the rank of Garden Supervisor to his current
position as the Deputy Manager of the Botanic Park. Mr.
Lawrus originally hails from Windsor, Ontario, Canada and
moved to Cayman from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
where he worked for many years at the University of British
Columbia Botanic Gardens.
